Traveling from Egypt to Jordan

As we left Egypt we had to get our luggage off the bus and walk through customs. It was extremely hot and windy. We first went through Israeli customs and got on buses there. We were taken to the Jordan customs, where we once again got our luggage and stood in line. It was hot and windy – a genuine sand storm. The security machines were down and so they opened every piece of everyone’s luggage. This took a long, long time, and we were out in the heat and wind and sand the whole time. We then put our luggage on another bus and were taken to our hotel. A shower never felt so good!
